Is there a wingman club in Phoenix?

Yes. The Wingmen is a private, invite-only social club for men in the Phoenix metro, with members going out across Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. Members get a vetted weekly slate of Phoenix events, a crew worth going out with, a learning curriculum and a coach in their pocket, all through the club's members' app. Membership is $19 a month at the founding rate, and every application is reviewed by a person.

What does The Wingmen actually do?

The club is built around one loop: learn the skills, get the week's vetted events, go out with a crew worth going out with, and get better every time.

• The weekly slate. Every week the club puts together Phoenix events scored on crowd, venue and value, so you know which nights are worth leaving the house for before you go.
• The crew. A private community of members to plan nights with, so you are not walking into a room alone.
• The curriculum. A learning path on the social side of going out: conversation, reading a room, following up.
• A coach in your pocket. The Wingman, the club's coach built into the app, for the question you have on the way in or the text you are deciding how to answer on the way out.

Is it a dating app?

No. There are no profiles to swipe and nobody is matched to anybody. The Wingmen is a social club: it gets you to good rooms with good people and helps you be worth knowing once you are there.

Are there social clubs for single men in Scottsdale?

The Wingmen covers Scottsdale as part of the Phoenix metro. Old Town Scottsdale nights are on the weekly slate alongside Phoenix and Tempe, and members go out across the whole valley rather than one neighborhood.

Is there a private social club for single professionals in Phoenix?

That is who most of the membership is. Members are men 18 and over, most of them in their 30s through 50s, and membership is limited on purpose. Conduct rules are enforced.

The same club: The Wingmen, an invite-only social club for men across the Phoenix metro, Scottsdale included. It is operated by The Wingman Club LLC, an Arizona company, and was founded by Daniel Gourley. It is not connected to Wingmen MC, a motorcycle club with a similar name.

How do you join?

You apply at thewingmen.club/apply, or a current member refers you. Applying is free, and nothing is charged unless you are accepted and decide to join. The founding rate of $19 a month is locked in for the first 30 members for as long as they stay.
