Event Host — The Wingmen
- $250–$400 per event
- Contract
- Phoenix
The Event Host runs the night. You're the person accountable for a Wingman Club event going well from load-in to last call — monthly connection nights at Old Town Scottsdale venues, community hangouts, and occasional private events.
Before the event, you confirm the venue details, the table and bottle service setup, and the staffing roster. On the night, you arrive first, brief the wing girl team, and manage the door — checking members in, handling the guest list, and sorting anything that comes up with the venue or promoter. Once the room fills, you're working it: reading the energy, moving people around, making sure no member is stranded and no table has gone flat.
You're also the club's face to the venue. If the promoter needs something, if a tab question comes up, if the room needs to shift — that's your call. After the event you send a short recap to club leadership: attendance, what worked, what didn't, and anything to fix next time.
Events typically run four to six hours, Thursday through Saturday evenings, with schedules confirmed at least two weeks out. Our members are professionals in their 40s and 50s, and the environment is upscale and respectful. This is a hosting and operations role with room to grow as we add markets.
What we're looking for
- 21+, based in the Phoenix metro, available for evening events
- Experience hosting, managing, or promoting nightlife or hospitality events — venue management, bottle service management, event coordination, or promoter work
- Comfortable being the person in charge. When something goes sideways at 11pm, you handle it without escalating the mood
- Strong social instincts — you can tell when a room is working and when it needs a nudge
- Organized: rosters, headcounts, timing, and a clear recap the next day
- Existing relationships with Old Town Scottsdale venues or promoters are a significant plus
- Professional judgment around alcohol service, guest conduct, and knowing when to involve venue security
To apply, tell us about an event you were responsible for — the size, your role, and something that went wrong and how you handled it. Include your general weekly availability.
